Legal Laneway Breakfast

8am – 9am Tuesday 3 February 2009 Register for LLB

Invitation PDF

In 2009 over 400 guests are expected in what now proves to be the biggest and most inclusive networking event on the legal calendar. This secular celebration, to mark the Opening of the Legal Year, was first held in 2004. Al fresco festivities now extend the length of Hardware Lane bringing together all aspects of the legal sector and community.

Victoria Law Foundation hosts the breakfast in association with:

  • Australian Women Lawyers
  • Judicial College of Victoria
  • Legal Services Board
  • Leo Cussen Institute
  • Sentencing Advisory Council
  • Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission
  • Victorian Law Reform Commission
  • Victorian Women Lawyers
  • Women Barristers' Association
  • Women's Legal Service Victoria
  • Young Lawyers' Section, Law Institute of Victoria

Although attendance is free, a fundraising raffle is held to support Women's Legal Service Victoria (WLSV) who provide women with vital legal advice on violence and relationship breakdown. So please be sure and have some five dollar notes ready to support this worthy cause. Earlybird registration prizes will also be provided to a random selection of guests who registered their attendance by 5pm 24 December 2008.

In 2009 the raffle and earlybird registration prizes have been kindly donated by:
