Law Week Oration

Thanks to all who attended and those who sent their apologies for the 2008 Law Week Oration "Statutory Interpretation" by The Hon Chief Justice Murray Gleeson AC of the High Court of Australia at the Supreme Court of Victoria on 31 July 2008.

The Banco Court was filled, with members of the public, law students, judges, barristers, academics, organisation executives, lawyers and no less than three Chief Justices: The Hon Chief Justice of the High Court, Murray Gleeson AC, The Hon Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Marilyn Warren AC and the The Hon Chief Justice of the Family Court, Diana Bryant. Further distinguished guests included The Hon Justice of the High Court, Susan Crennan AC, , His Honour Judge Paul Grant, President of the Children's Court of Victoria and Chief Magistrate Ian Gray, from the Magistrates' Court of Victoria.
