Grants

As part of our program, the Victoria Law Foundation offers grants to innovative projects that work towards:

• improving community understanding of the law and legal system in Victoria;
• improving community access to the justice system; and
• creating a better and more responsive justice system.

Grants must satisfy at least one of the Foundation’s statutory objects and comply with the Foundation’s guiding principles.

The Foundation has two grant programs and one fellowship:

• Small Grants
• General Grants
• CLC Fellowship

In 2006-2007 we awarded 52 grants with a total value of $492,293. There were 17 General Grants totalling $393,529 and 35 Small Grants totalling $98,764
