Law Talks - free legal information for everyoneLaw Talks is a series of free legal information sessions for regional communities. Victoria Law Foundation has been staging Law Talks (originally called the Civics Roadshow) in regional areas throughout Victoria since May 2007. Law Talks has been to Morwell, Mildura, Warrnambool and Wangaratta. The next regional location and date is yet to be announced. Law Talks consists of:
The Community Program includes sessions on issues specific to local areas and general legal topics such as powers of attorney, wills, guardianship, and solving small disputes. Local agencies and community groups are consulted to ensure that the program offers information sessions relevant to the local community. The School Program gives VCE Legal Studies students the opportunity to participate in a range of activities to supplement their learning, including presentations by:
