Small Grants
What is the Small Grants program? Small grants are grants of up to $5,000 (exc GST) that are usually meeting an immediate need or scoping a larger project. In most cases they are awarded at the discretion of the Executive Director of the Foundation. Small grants are awarded for projects that meet the statutory objects and comply with the guiding principles of the Foundation that in the opinion of the Executive Director are meritorious and appropriate. How much can I apply for under a Victoria Law Foundation small grant? Small grants are for a maximum of $5,000 (exc GST) Who can apply? The Foundation accepts applications from most organisations. However, the Foundation only accepts applications from individuals in exceptional circumstances. When can I apply? Small grants at anytime of the year and we aim to respond to you within 14 days (this may be longer if we require additional information from you). How do I apply? In determining whether to support an application for a small grant consideration will be given to the merits of the application and how the project meets the statutory objects of the Foundation and its guiding principles.
